Tillingbourne Homes is a property development company specialising in new build residential Arts & Crafts style properties. From the initial design concept we produce architectural plans and then the project is created as a 3D computer simulation. These 3D autocad images are an accurate prediction of the finished project. Our prestigious houses are then constructed in a traditional way with the highest standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Each house is designed to maximise light and space and enhance the surrounding landscape in a sympathetic way. We use local materials in a straightforward yet thoughtful manner and have a strong commitment to creating beautiful houses that complement the surroundings. Our approach is to build houses with a sensitive interpretation of Arts and Craft architecture always thinking of the function and form of the project. In this way each individual house sits comfortably in its environment and there is balance between their exterior and interior spaces. By taking features from the Arts and Craft period in a gentle way we create houses suggestive of the Surrey vernacular style of Edwin Lutyens who designed some of the most inventive and romantic examples of British domestic architecture. We incorporate gables, timber detailing, hand made bricks, sweeping rooflines and beautiful brick mullioned windows to great effect.
In many instances our clients come into a project at an early stage and we are able to work closely with them to achieve their ideas and dreams for the house. Each project is managed closely with an exacting eye for detail and a close relationship with experienced specialists, sub-contractors and suppliers. Lighting and landscaping is critical to the design of each house and contemporary styling inside creates luxury and comfort. We also use progressive ideas to ensure our houses are environmentally friendly. The implementation of air source heat pumps in our latest projects provides a new and clean way of providing hot water and heating.
